Hall Of Games: ARMADA Alumni and Varsity went head to head! (Recap)

It’s 11:45PM As I begin this recap , and I’m finally winding down after an intense night at the Hall of Games. I must give props to the Full Sail Platinum team, the Full Sail Armada Esport team, the staff, faculty, and the entire student body for bringing the energy! This was my first time at an event like this, and I have to say, it was incredible, even though I'm not really a gamer.

Now, let’s dive into the action! When I arrived on campus, the smell of French fries, cheesesteaks, pizza, and popcorn hit me, setting the stage for what was to come. The back lot was already buzzing with excitement, so I checked in and then got sidetracked by a counselor offering surveys for free money – talk about a random encounter!

The tournament kicked off with the Armada alumni dominating in Call of Duty. The varsity put up a good fight, but the alumni secured a well-deserved victory in a tight competition.

Next up was Rocket League, and the teams battled it out in a best-of-five series. I was torn between cheering for both the varsity and alumni, and the energy was off the charts. The games were neck and neck, but in the end, it was a good game all around.
