The Sync Off
The concept and best way to explain the game is "Lip Sync Battle" meets "Cards Against Humanity". The game is played by drawing cards to get a category to pick a song and give a lip-sync performance with your team. After multiple rounds of regular gameplay, as well as, fun challenges and impediments provided by the mystery vinyl cards, the team with the 7 cards wins. Take a look below at the Case Study documenting the process of creating this game. HSMTMTS Concept Game
In this project, Rachel choose a TV show and imagine a mobile app game to increase the shows viewing audience size. The game itself would be free and is meant to market the show and be directed at the IP Holder.
She choose her favorite show at the time which was High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Within the show there is a game called High School Musical: The Choosical created by the character Carlos. Rachel, as well as many other viewers of the show, wish this game was real, so when she got this assignment, she thought let's do it! So she created a mock-up of a bunch of the gameplay and once it was done posted it on Twitter where Tim Federle, the show runner of HSMTMTS, actually liked it!
